Ingredients:
1 cup sev
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1/2 cup roasted chana dal (fried lentils)
1/2 cup puffed rice
1/4 cup cashew nuts (optional)
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
Add curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and asafoetida. Mix well.
